Creamy Cilantro Lime Dressing

This Creamy Cilantro Lime Dressing combines fresh cilantro, yogurt, avocado oil, lime juice, garlic, honey, green onions, salt, and pepper blended smooth. The result is a tangy, herbaceous dressing with a creamy texture, brightened by lime and balanced by garlic and honey sweetness, suitable for salads or as a dip.

Description

Creamy Cilantro Lime Dressing blends cilantro leaves with plain yogurt, avocado oil, fresh lime juice, garlic cloves, honey, sliced green onions, salt, and black pepper to create a smooth and vibrant dressing. Processing in a food processor or blender yields a thick and creamy consistency, marrying the fresh herbaceous notes of cilantro with the refreshing acidity of lime. The garlic adds pungency while the honey provides gentle sweetness that balances the flavors.

Chilling the dressing before serving allows the flavors to meld, enhancing the overall taste. It can be stored in an airtight container for up to a week, making it convenient for meal prep. This dressing works well on green salads or as a complement to grilled vegetables and proteins, providing a zesty and creamy component.

Instantly refreshing and green-hued, it offers a fresh alternative to heavier dressings. The use of yogurt keeps it lighter but creamy; sour cream or mayonnaise can be substituted according to preference.
