Creamy Garlic Dressing

Creamy Garlic Dressing combines mayonnaise, sour cream, and olive oil with fresh garlic, parsley, and vinegar for a smooth and tangy dressing with herbal notes. It is chilled before serving to meld the flavors and achieve a balanced richness.

Description

This Creamy Garlic Dressing blends mayonnaise and sour cream as a smooth base, enhanced by white wine vinegar and olive oil whisked in slowly for a velvety texture. Fresh or dried parsley adds a bright herbaceous touch. Minced garlic and onion powder provide savory depth.

Seasoned with salt and black pepper, this dressing offers a tangy, creamy condiment suitable for salads or as a dip. Chilling it for at least one hour before serving allows the flavors to harmonize.

Variations include substituting lemon juice for vinegar or thinning the dressing with milk or buttermilk for a lighter consistency. It should be stored refrigerated and used within two to three days.
