Ingredients

  • 16 oz baby bella mushrooms cleaned and trimmed
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 2 tbsp garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tbsp cream cheese
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan Cheese
  • 1/2 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/2 tsp dried thyme
  • 1/2 tsp ground pepper
  • salt to taste
  • parsely, to garnish optional

Instructions

  1. Heat a large skillet; add butter on a medium heat. 
  2. Once the butter has melted add the minced garlic and fry them for 1 minute until a nice aroma comes.
  3. Add the cleaned mushrooms and saute for 4-5 minutes until tender and coated with butter sauce.
  4. Stir in the heavy cream, cream cheese, salt, pepper, dried oregano and thyme. Close with lid and cook for 5 minutes until the sauce thickens.
  5. Finally add the parmesan cheese and simmer the sauce for a minute.
  6. Add some chopped fresh parsley and transfer the creamy garlic mushrooms to a bowl and serve.
