Creamy Seafood Chowder

Creamy Seafood Chowder blends a variety of seafood including white fish, scallops, shrimp, and clams with vegetables like carrot, celery, potato, and corn in a seasoned, thickened broth. The chowder is cooked until the fish is flaky and vegetables tender, richened with cream for a smooth, hearty texture ideal for a warming meal.

Description

This chowder incorporates butter sautéed onions, seasoned with Old Bay and thyme, and thickened with flour. A mixture of vegetables and broth is boiled and then simmered to develop depth. Fresh seafood chunks are added alongside cream to finish cooking, creating a creamy, smooth chowder with tender seafood pieces and soft vegetables.

The seafood provides a variety of textures—flaky fish, tender scallops, shrimp, and clams—while the vegetables add comforting body and subtle sweetness. The use of white wine and Old Bay seasoning enhances the savory and aromatic profile.

Serve the chowder hot, garnished with fresh parsley for brightness. It makes a filling main course, suitable for cooler days or when a satisfying seafood dish is desired.
