Creamy Tomatillo Dressing

Ingredients
- 2 tomatillo green Mexican husk tomatoes, small
- 1/2 to 1 jalapeno pepper ribs and seeds removed, then chopped, small
- 1 cup cilantro (measure then chop)
- 1 packet (1 ounce) Ranch dressing mix hidden valley
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 2/3 cup buttermilk
- 2 garlic minced, cloves
- 1 teaspoon lime juice fresh
Instructions
- Remove husks from tomatillos. Chop into small pieces. Place in blender or food processor.
- Add all the other remaining ingredients to the blender. Cover with lid. Blend until combined and smooth.
- Pour dressing in a container and cover tightly with lid. Refrigerate at least 2 hours to chill before serving.
Notes
- Yields: 2 cups dressing
- Dressing stays good for up to 1 week covered tightly in the refrigerator.
