Creamy Yogurt Cucumber Salad Recipe
Description
The Creamy Yogurt Cucumber Salad Recipe balances crisp cucumber slices and mild red onion with a creamy dressing made from Greek yogurt, freshly minced garlic, and lemon juice. The addition of chopped dill and mint adds fragrant herbal notes that pair well with the cool cucumber. Salt and black pepper season the salad to taste, enhancing the freshness and creaminess. The ingredients are combined and refrigerated for an hour to allow flavors to meld and cucumbers to soften slightly.
This salad is light yet satisfying due to the yogurt's richness, contrasted by cool crunchy cucumbers and the brightness of herbs. It is suitable as a side salad alongside grilled or roasted dishes, providing a refreshing complement. The fleece dressing keeps the salad moist and flavorful without overpowering the vegetables.
