Creole Mustard
Description
This Creole Mustard recipe blends plain stone-ground mustard with honey to sweeten, horseradish for heat, Worcestershire sauce for savory depth, molasses adding subtle sweetness and richness, and Creole seasoning for a signature flavorful kick. The mixture is stirred and allowed to rest refrigerated for at least 24 hours, which helps the flavors integrate and develop complexity.
The mustard offers a balance of piquant and sweet notes, complemented by the warmth of horseradish and savory undertones from Worcestershire sauce. It can be stored in the fridge for at least a month, maintaining its robust flavor profile. This condiment pairs well with meats, seafood, sandwiches, and traditional Creole dishes.
