  • cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1 ounce Parmesan Cheese grated
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon parsley dried
  • 2 egg white
  • 20 white button mushrooms cleaned

Instructions

  1. Prep oven and baking sheet - Preheat to 450℉ and line baking sheet with parchment paper; set aside.
  2. Combine ingredients - In a bowl combine breadcrumbs, salt, pepper, garlic powder, parmesan cheese, and parsley. In separate bowl, whisk the egg whites.
  3. Dip your mushrooms - Dip each mushroom in egg whites, then roll mushroom through the breadcrumb mixture, and place on baking sheet.
  4. Bake - 10 - 15 minutes or until golden brown and crispy then serve with ranch dressing, marinara or dipping sauce of your choice!

Notes

  • Regular breadcrumbs can be used instead of panko if unavailable.
  • Serve the mushrooms warm with ranch dressing or marinara sauce.
  • To freeze, first freeze breaded mushrooms on a tray until firm, then store in airtight containers or bags for up to 10-12 months.
