Crispy Baked Sweet Potato Fries

These crispy baked sweet potato fries offer a well-balanced texture with a tender interior and a slightly crisp exterior. Seasoned with paprika, cumin, and kosher salt, they deliver a mildly smoky and earthy flavor. Baking at a high temperature and flipping halfway ensures even cooking and crispiness. This recipe is ideal when you want a baked alternative to fried fries that pairs easily with various dips or as a side dish to meals.

Description

Crispy Baked Sweet Potato Fries combine simple ingredients and a baking method that results in fries with a satisfying texture. They are sliced into sticks about 1/4 to 1/2 inch thick to promote even cooking. Coated with olive oil and seasoned with paprika, cumin, and kosher salt, these fries develop a gentle spice and a touch of warmth from the paprika and cumin. Baking at 450 degrees Fahrenheit crisps the outside while keeping the fries tender inside. Remember to arrange them in a single layer on the baking sheet without crowding, and flip them once during baking to promote even crispness. These fries make a practical side or snack and can be reheated or stored for a few days without losing much texture.
