Crispy Baked Zucchini Fries
Description
The recipe for Crispy Baked Zucchini Fries uses medium zucchinis cut into sticks that are coated in flour, dipped in beaten eggs, and then coated with a mixture of Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, pepper, and breadcrumbs. Baking at 425°F creates a crispy, golden crust with a tender zucchini center. The use of Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning enhances the savory taste, while the garlic powder adds depth. Cooking with cooking spray helps achieve crunch without deep frying, making for a less oily finish.
The fries are best served immediately to retain their crispness and can be served as a snack or side dish. They pair well with dipping sauces such as marinara, ranch, or aioli. Turning the fries halfway through baking ensures even browning on all sides.
