Crispy Cheesy Fried Eggs (Easy Breakfast Idea!)

This recipe for crispy cheesy fried eggs is just 2 ingredients and is so delicious and effortless you’ll wonder why you haven’t been making eggs this way your entire life! Simply put, it’s a fried egg with a crispy pan-fried cheese bottom. The texture of these eggs is simply out of this world. Add them to your favorite breakfast sandwich for an extra crunch!

Ingredients

  • 2 large egg
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp cheddar cheese shredded, or montary jack cheese
  • 1 tsp Montreal steak seasoning

Instructions

  1. In a non-stick frying pan, heat the olive oil over medium heat; you want this to be hot and sizzling.
  2. Crack the eggs directly into the frying pan and cook until the edge of the egg white begins to crisp up, about 1 minute. Sprinkle the shredded cheese evenly over the top of the eggs and add a pinch of montreal steak seasoning.
  3. Carefully flip eggs to the other side, yolk/cheese side down and continue to cook 45 seconds to 1 minute. Serve immediately and garnish with fresh sprouts or herbs, if desired.
