Crispy Parmesan Bacon Bites

Crispy Parmesan Bacon Bites are toasted baguette slices topped with a mixture of mayonnaise, grated Parmesan, minced onion, and garlic, then finished with crispy chopped bacon before baking. The result is a crunchy, savory appetizer combining creamy, cheesy spread with salty bacon and toasted bread. Baking and brief broiling create a golden crust and meld the flavors for an inviting bite.

Description

This recipe turns sliced baguette rounds into flavorful bites topped with a blend of mayonnaise, Parmesan cheese, minced onion and garlic, crowned with crisp bacon pieces. The bread slices are arranged on a baking sheet without grease, topped generously with the creamy cheese mixture, then sprinkled with cooked bacon before baking at 350°F. A quick broil at the end enhances browning and crisps the topping further.

The baking melts the mayonnaise and cheese blend slightly while toasting the bread edges, creating textural contrast from crunchy to creamy. The bacon adds smoky saltiness and texture that contrasts with the creamy spread. These bites are intended to be served immediately while warm.
