Description
The recipe uses six Russet baking potatoes washed, dried, and pricked with a fork to prevent bursting during cooking. They are rubbed with olive oil and sprinkled with salt to season the skins. Potatoes may be wrapped in foil but it is optional and affects skin texture. The crockpot is heated on low for 8-10 hours or high for 4-5 hours, cooking the potatoes evenly without direct heat.

Instructions
- Wash the potatoes and let dry. Poke each potato with a fork a few times. Rub each with oil, then salt. You can wrap in foil, but this is optional.
- Place the oiled potatoes in the crockpot (do not had any liquids) and cook on low for about 8 -10 hours or on high for 4-5 hours until the potatoes are soft.
- Carefully remove the potatoes from the crock pot. Cut open the potatoes and top with your favorite baked potato toppings.
