Crock pot Beef Pot Pie

Try this twist on the classic recipe when you make Crock pot beef pot pie recipe. The beef is a nice change and adds a lot of flavor to the veggies.

Ingredients
- 2 pounds stew meat
- 16 oz Mixed vegetables frozen
- 1 cup celery chopped
- 1/2 onion diced
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 2 tsp minced garlic
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- 1 bay leaf
- 3-4 potatoes peeled and diced
- 3 cups beef broth
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 1 tbsp water
- 1 Biscuits canned 16.3 ozoptional
Instructions
- Add all the ingredients except for the cornstarch, water and biscuits to the crock pot.
- Cook on low for 8 hours.
- 1 hour before cooking mix together your cornstarch and water in a small bowl.
- Stir into the crock pot to thicken the sauce
- Cook the biscuits based on the package instructions and serve over each bowl.
- Enjoy!
