Crock Pot Chili Lime Chicken Drumsticks

Report
Crock Pot Chili Lime Chicken Drumsticks are flavored with a sauce made from lime juice, garlic, chili powder, honey, and olive oil, resulting in tender, tangy, and slightly sweet chicken cooked slowly. Finishing under the broiler crisps the skin for texture contrast. The slow cooking ensures juicy meat that easily pulls from the bone.

Description

This recipe marinates chicken drumsticks in a mixture of fresh lime juice, minced garlic, chili powder, honey, and olive oil, creating a balance of acidity, spice, and sweetness. Cooking in a crock pot on low or high heat for several hours produces tender meat infused with the marinade’s flavors. After slow cooking, broiling briefly crisps the skin for a pleasant finish.

The resulting dish offers a moist, juicy texture with a tangy and mildly spicy flavor profile. The honey adds subtle sweetness that balances the chili and lime. The chicken can be served as a main dish alongside sides such as rice, salads, or steamed vegetables.

Leftover drumsticks should be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator and consumed within five days, ensuring food safety and quality.
