Crock pot Creamy Salsa ranch Chicken pasta
Description
The recipe slowly cooks frozen chicken breasts in a mixture of cream of chicken soup, ranch dressing mix, and salsa, allowing the flavors to fully infuse the meat while keeping it moist. After slow cooking, the chicken is shredded to blend well with the creamy sauce made creamier by added sour cream. Then, cooked rotini pasta is mixed in to absorb the sauce, yielding a rich, smooth dish with contrasting textures from the optional tortilla strips on top.
This meal can be served as a main course alongside a fresh salad to balance the creamy richness. The ranch and salsa combination provides a tangy and savory flavor profile that complements the tender shredded chicken and pasta well.
