Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef lean
- 1 sweet onion finely chopped
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 4 potatoes peeled and chopped into 1" pieces, Yukon gold or red variety
- 1 lb carrot peeled and diced, bag
- 1 tomato sauce 15 ounces
- 1 tomato paste 6 oz can
- 1 diced tomatoes 14.5 ounces, canned
- 3 cups beef broth low-sodium
- 2 teaspoon garlic minced
- 1 teaspoon parsley flakes
- 2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1 teaspoon salt if needed
- 1 cups green peas frozen
Instructions
- Brown ground beef.
- Add the remaining ingredients (except for the peas) and stir together. Cook on low heat for 6-7 hours.
- 1 hour before cooking time is up add the peas and let cook the remaining time.
- Serve with crusty bread.
