Crock pot Meatball Stew Recipe

Report
Crock pot Meatball Stew combines frozen meatballs with vegetables like onion, celery, carrot, and potato, simmered slowly in a tomato paste and beef broth base seasoned with garlic, Worcestershire sauce, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. The slow cooking melds flavors into a hearty, comforting stew.

Description

This stew assembles frozen meatballs with chopped onion, sliced celery ribs, peeled and chunked carrots and potatoes, minced garlic, tomato paste, Worcestershire sauce, Italian seasoning, salt, black pepper, and beef broth directly into a crock pot. The ingredients are stirred to combine before slow cooking.

The stew is cooked on low heat for 6 to 8 hours or on high for 3 to 4 hours, allowing the meatballs to heat through and the vegetables to become tender. The tomato paste and broth base yield a rich, savory broth, while the Italian seasoning provides herbaceous depth.

This preparation offers a straightforward, hands-off approach to a filling meal with balanced vegetables and meat. It is served warm, suitable for colder days or family dinners requiring easy cooking.

Leftovers may be refrigerated in airtight containers for 5 to 7 days. While typically made with frozen meatballs, homemade meatballs can be substituted as desired.
