Crock Pot Pork Chops

Crock Pot Pork Chops slow-cook boneless pork chops in a creamy, savory sauce made from chicken broth, milk, Greek yogurt, and onion soup mix. The flour-based gravy thickens on the stove before combining with other ingredients, ensuring a smooth, flavorful coating. Cooking in a crock pot yields tender pork chops with a moist texture, ideal for an easy, comforting meal.

Description

This recipe starts by placing boneless pork chops in the crock pot. A creamy sauce is prepared on the stove by combining chicken broth and milk with flour and cooking until thick. Greek yogurt, Worcestershire sauce, onion soup mix, and additional chicken broth are mixed into the gravy to build layers of flavor and to enrich the sauce's texture.

The pork chops cook slowly in the crock pot with the sauce, resulting in tender meat infused with the savory, slightly tangy gravy. The sauce can then be poured over the chops for serving, offering a smooth, comforting addition that coats the pork in richness without heavy cream.

This dish works well served alongside vegetables, mashed potatoes, or rice, making it suitable for a hearty weeknight dinner. Adjust cooking time for chop thickness to avoid overcooking.

Ingredients

Servings
  • 5 pork chops boneless
  • ½ cup chicken broth
  • ½ cup milk 1% fat
  • ¼ cup all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup Greek yogurt fat-free, plain
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 packet onion soup mix dry
  • ½ cup chicken broth

Instructions

  1. Place pork chops in the bottom of the crock pot.
  2. In a medium saucepan, mix together the chicken broth, milk, and flour over medium-low heat until it boils - stir constantly. Continue stirring the "chicken soup" until it thickens and then remove from heat.
  3. In a medium bowl, mix together "chicken soup", Greek yogurt, Worcestershire sauce, onion soup mix, and chicken broth until incorporated. Pour sauce over the pork chops.
  4. Cover the crock pot and cook on LOW for 4-6 hours. (I've used thin boneless pork chops and they were done in 3 hours, so check them periodically.)
  5. Remove the pork chops from the crock pot and plate. Pour gravy from the crock pot over the pork chops.
