Crock Pot Teriyaki Pork Tenderloin Recipe

Report
Crock Pot Teriyaki Pork Tenderloin slow-cooks pork tenderloin in teriyaki sauce, chicken broth, and garlic, resulting in tender, flavorful meat. The sauce is thickened with a cornstarch and cold water mixture near the end of cooking, creating a glossy glaze perfect for serving. This dish offers simple preparation in a slow cooker, ideal for hands-off cooking.

Description

The recipe places a two-pound pork tenderloin in a crock pot and covers it with teriyaki sauce, minced garlic, and chicken broth. Cooking on low for 4 to 6 hours tenderizes the pork until it is sliceable rather than shreddable. The long, slow cooking allows the pork to absorb the flavors of the teriyaki and garlic, resulting in a juicy and well-seasoned main dish.

Near the end of cooking, a mixture of cornstarch and cold water is stirred into the crock pot after removing the lid, allowing the sauce to thicken into a glossy glaze. The pork is then sliced and served with extra sauce spooned on top, complementing the mild pork with sweet and savory teriyaki flavor.

This recipe lends itself well to simple home cooking, ideal for meal prep or casual dinners, requiring minimal attention once the ingredients are combined.

Leftovers can be refrigerated in an airtight container and remain safe to eat for up to five days.
