  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 lb ground turkey or 2 cups chopped turkey
  • 1 can diced tomatoes
  • 1 can corn
  • 1 can green chilies diced
  • 1 (15 oz) can great northern beans drained
  • 1 (15 oz) can black beans drained
  • 3/4 c water
  • 1 tbsp chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tbsp cumin ground
  • 1 pinch black pepper ground
  • 1 pinch ground allspice
  • 1 tsp red pepper flakes optional
  • garlic salt with parsley flakes

Instructions

  1. Using a skillet over medium heat add olive oil and turkey. Cook until evenly browned. Drain excess oil.
  2. Spray the crock pot with cooking spray and add the browned turkey, tomatoes, beans, corn and green chilies. Stir in the water and seasonings.
  3. Cover and cook on Low for 8 hours or High for 4 hours.
