  • 2 pounds ground beef browned
  • 1/2 onion diced
  • 2 teaspoons garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 3 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 4 cups beef broth
  • 3 cups cheddar cheese shredded
  • 16 oz elbow macaroni not cooked

Instructions

  1. In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef until it is brown. (Or use your Ninja)
  2. Add to a 6 quart slow cooker.
  3. Add in onion, seasonings, Worcestershire sauce and broth. Stir to combine.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4.
  5. 15 minutes before serving stir in the pasta. It will look very watery but don't worry the pasta will soak it up. Cover and cook for 15 minutes until the desired tenderness is reached.
  6. Stir in the cheese until melted.
  7. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • Hand shred block cheddar cheese for better melting and flavor distribution.
  • Sharp cheddar works well, but other cheeses can be substituted according to taste.
  • Pair with steamed broccoli to create a balanced meal.
