Ingredients
- 3 lbs corned beef brisket with seasoning packet that is included
- 4 whole carrots peeled and sliced thick
- 3 garlic cloves peeled or minced
- ½ head of cabbage cut into thin wedge
- 2 cups water or beef broth
optional for serving
- homemade or store bought mashed potatoes
- homemade or store bought horseradish cream sauce
- finely chopped chives

Instructions
- Into the crockpot add corned beef and sprinkle over the included seasoning packet.
- Add the carrots, cabbage cut into thin wedges and garlic cloves to the top.
- Pour over 2 cups water
- Cook on high for 5 hours or low for 8 hours.
- Remove meat onto a cutting board and slice against the grain into strips. Serve with cabbage and carrots, drizzle juice from the crockpot over.
- Optional for serving: mashed potatoes and horseradish cream sauce with finely chopped chives sprinkled over.
