  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 small onion chopped
  • 3-4 garlic minced, cloves
  • 1 tsp ginger minced
  • 16 oz cabbage shredded; or coleslaw mix
  • 2 carrot peeled and grated
  • 1 red bell pepper thinly sliced
  • ¼ cup soy sauce or tamari
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • sriracha optional for additional heat
  • 2 green onions chopped
  • sesame seeds optional for garnish
  • chinese noodles optional for crunchy topping

Instructions

  1. Brown the Meat: In a skillet, brown the ground beef and drain any excess fat. Transfer to the crockpot.
  2. Add Ingredients: Add onion, garlic, ginger, cabbage, carrots, and bell pepper to the crockpot.
  3. Season: Pour in soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, and sriracha; season with salt and pepper to taste. Stir to combine.
  4. Cook: Cover and cook on low for 3-4 hours, or until the veggies are tender.
  5. Serve: Top with green onions, sesame seeds, and optional chinese noodles for crunch.
