Crockpot Funeral Potatoes

Report
Crockpot Funeral Potatoes are a creamy casserole made from frozen diced hash browns, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, onions, and cheddar cheese cooked in a slow cooker. The dish yields tender potatoes with a cheesy texture and comforting flavor, making it convenient for gatherings or family meals.

Description

Crockpot Funeral Potatoes combines frozen diced hash browns with cream of chicken soup, sour cream, diced onions, seasoning, and shredded cheddar cheese. This mixture is cooked slowly in a crock pot until the potatoes become tender and infused with creamy, cheesy flavor. The final step adds more cheese on top, melted to a gooey finish.

The slow cooking method allows the flavors to meld, producing a smooth, thick texture throughout the dish with a tender potato base and rich cheesy undertones.

This casserole is commonly served as a comforting side dish or main at family events and potlucks. It can be eaten warm directly from the crock pot, offering ease of serving and preparation.

Leftovers keep well refrigerated in an airtight container for up to one week and can be reheated until warm.
