  • 1 (10.5 ounce) can cream of chicken soup condensed
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1 packet Italian dressing mix
  • 3-4 cloves garlic minced
  • black pepper to taste
  • 2 pounds chicken breast about 4 medium chicken breasts, boneless skinless
  • 8 ounces cream cheese softened and cubed
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan Cheese or more, to taste, freshly grated
  • parsley optional, to taste, chopped, fresh

Instructions

  1. In a medium prep bowl, stir the cream of chicken soup, chicken broth, Italian dressing mix, garlic, and pepper together.
  2. Place the chicken breasts side-by-side in your slow cooker. Pour the bowl mixture over top and then place the cream cheese on top (you don't need to stir). Cover and cook on high for 3 hours or low for 5-6 hours.
  3. Using two forks, shred the chicken right in the slow cooker. Sprinkle in the parmesan cheese and parsley if using. Toss/stir so it's all nicely coated with the sauce. Serve over rice, mashed potatoes, noodles, or in buns.
