Crockpot Meatloaf Recipe

Report
This crockpot meatloaf uses ground beef combined with eggs, quick-cooking oats, onion soup mix, and ketchup. It's shaped into a loaf and slow-cooked in a crockpot, topped with ketchup for moisture and flavor. The result is a moist, tender meatloaf cooked gently over several hours, requiring no oven.

Description

The Crockpot Meatloaf Recipe starts with ground beef mixed with eggs to bind, quick-cooking oats as a filler, and a dry onion soup mix for seasoning. Regular ketchup is incorporated into the mixture and spread on top. The loaf is cooked in a sprayed crockpot on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours, allowing gentle, even cooking without drying out the meat.

The slow cooker environment helps the meatloaf retain moisture and develop a tender texture. This method is convenient for home cooks wanting to avoid heating an oven or multitask during the day. The soup mix and ketchup provide savory, mellow flavor without requiring many fresh ingredients.

Serve the meatloaf sliced, often accompanied by mashed potatoes or vegetables. The recipe's simplicity focuses on basic ingredients and slow cooking to produce a straightforward comfort dish.
