Crockpot Pork Chop Dinner

Report
This Crockpot Pork Chop Dinner combines boneless pork chops with diced potatoes, baby carrots, crushed tomatoes, and chicken broth seasoned with Italian herbs and garlic salt. The ingredients cook slowly until the vegetables are tender and the pork chops absorb the tomato-based sauce, creating a one-pot meal with a comforting texture.

Description

The recipe layers carrots and diced russet potatoes in the bottom of a crock pot, seasoned simply with salt and pepper. Boneless pork chops are placed on top, followed by Italian seasoning, garlic salt, crushed tomatoes, and chicken broth. Cooking on low or high heats the ingredients until the potatoes and carrots soften and the pork chops become tender.

As the meal cooks, the pork chops gently braise in the tomato and broth mixture enriched with herbs, which helps keep them moist. The vegetables soak up the juices, resulting in a hearty dish where the sauce can be spooned over all components at serving.

This meal is practical for slow cooker use, requiring little active preparation and yielding dinner ready at the end of the cooking period. It balances protein, vegetables, and a savory sauce in one dish.

Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to five days.
