Crockpot Ravioli Lasagna Recipe
Description
Crockpot Ravioli Lasagna features layers of frozen ravioli and a ground beef tomato sauce seasoned with Italian herbs and garlic salt. The sauce is spread in the slow cooker with alternating layers of ravioli and mozzarella cheese, topped with Parmesan, and cooked on low heat for several hours. This slow cooking melds the flavors and softens the ravioli for a texture that blends tender pasta with a rich, saucy filling and melted cheeses.
The final dish can be cut into portions similar to traditional lasagna servings. With its creamy and savory layers, it pairs well with a crisp side salad and crusty garlic bread for a complete meal. The recipe simplifies lasagna preparation by using ravioli instead of making pasta sheets and assembling layers traditionally.
Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container and remain good for about 5 to 7 days in the refrigerator, making this a convenient make-ahead option suitable for family dinners or casual gatherings.
