Crockpot Spinach Artichoke Dip

The Crockpot Spinach Artichoke Dip combines thawed spinach, artichoke hearts, and a blend of cream cheese, mozzarella, and Parmesan cheeses melted together slowly in a crockpot for a smooth, creamy texture. Garlic and milk add flavor and creaminess while black pepper seasons the dip. It's ideal for serving warm with chips, crackers, or baguette slices.

Description

This Crockpot Spinach Artichoke Dip brings together thawed and drained frozen spinach with quartered and drained canned artichoke hearts to form the vegetable base. Cream cheese at room temperature is combined with shredded mozzarella and grated Parmesan cheese, enhancing the smoothness and depth of flavor. Garlic adds an aromatic touch, while milk gives the dip a creamy consistency. Black pepper provides simple seasoning.

The ingredients are carefully mixed in a slow cooker and cooked on high heat for about two hours until all the cheeses have melted and the dip is uniformly blended. The slow cook method ensures gentle heating that prevents separation and maintains a creamy texture.

Once ready, the dip is served warm alongside chips, crackers, or sliced baguette, functioning as a hearty appetizer or snack. The recipe notes suggest it can be halved for smaller groups and adjusted with additional milk if the dip becomes too thick.

The creamy richness combined with the tender greens and artichokes makes this a comforting addition to gatherings or casual snacking. Storing leftovers and nutritional considerations are briefly mentioned as general guidelines.
