Crockpot Tomato Soup

Crockpot Tomato Soup - simply add all your ingredients into a slow cooker. So delicious, comforting and incredibly easy to make!

Ingredients

  • 1 Tbsp butter
  • 1 onion finely diced
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 ounces cans tomato whole
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 Tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ¼ tsp celery seed
  • ¼ tsp oregano dried
  • tsp red pepper flakes crushed

Instructions

  1. Place a small saucepan over medium heat. Add the butter and onions, melt the butter, and cook the onions until tender. Stir in the garlic and heat through.
  2. Prepare a slow cooker with nonstick cooking spray.
  3. Add the cooked onions mixture and remaining ingredients to the slow cooker and stir to combine.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 5 to 6 hours or on high for 2 to 3 hours.
  5. Prior to serving, carefully use an immersion blender to puree the soup.
