Ingredients
- 1 french baguette
- 5 Tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon sea salt
Instructions
- Heat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Slice the French baguette on the diagonal into about ½" thick slices.
- Lay slices in a single layer on 1-2 baking sheets.
- Brush both sides of each piece of bread with olive oil.
- Bake for 8-10 minutes in preheated oven at 400 degrees Fahrenheit or until golden brown and crispy.
- Sprinkle with sea salt.
- Serve with your favorite appetizers or top as you like and enjoy!
Notes
- Allow to cool completely before transferring to an airtight container or plastic zip top bag. Store with a paper towel to help soak up any excess moisture and keep the crostini crispy.
- Store at room temperature for up to a week. Alternatively, you can freeze your crostini for about a month!
- Preheat your oven or toaster oven to about 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Then bake for 5 minutes, or until the toast crisps back up again and is warm. Be careful not to over-bake when reheating. Keep a close eye on the crostini while they are in the oven.
