Cucumber Juice
Description
The Cucumber Juice recipe starts by peeling English cucumbers and chopping them into pieces before blending with water, lemon juice and zest, and fresh mint leaves. Using a strong blender or food processor, the ingredients are pureed until smooth. The mixture is then strained through a fine mesh to separate juice from pulp, resulting in a clean, light green juice with subtle cucumber sweetness and fresh mint aroma complemented by tangy lemon.
This juice is best served immediately or chilled briefly in the refrigerator. It makes a hydrating and flavorful drink that's gentle and not overpowering, ideal for hot days or as a complement to meals seeking a fresh palate cleanser.
Leftovers should be stored in an airtight container, such as a mason jar, and consumed within 24 hours for best freshness and flavor. Using a high-performance blender with a smoothie setting helps achieve a consistent puree and smooth texture before straining.
Ingredients
- 6 cups water
- 2 cucumber English
- 1 lemon juice and zest
