Cucumber Radish Crostini
Description
This recipe begins by slicing a baguette and brushing the slices with olive oil before toasting them until golden and crisp. Spreadable Brie cheese is layered over the warm toasts to provide a creamy contrast. Fresh arugula adds a peppery, leafy element, while thin slices of cucumber and radish bring cool, crisp textures. A sprinkle of sea salt and chopped fresh chives finish the crostini with a mild sharpness and brightness.
These simple yet texturally varied bites are well-suited for serving at gatherings or as a light starter. The crisp vegetables and creamy cheese atop crunchy toast present a refreshing flavor balance and attractive presentation that is easy to assemble.
