Cucumber Sandwich Recipe
Description
The Cucumber Sandwich Recipe brings together softened cream cheese blended with lemon juice, garlic, fresh dill, and chives. The seasoning with salt and black pepper complements the mild cucumber slices that are peeled and cut paper-thin. Spreading the herbed cream cheese on bread before layering with cucumber results in a moist and refreshing sandwich. The texture combines creamy and crisp elements from the spread and cucumber, respectively. Cutting into quarters creates manageable bite-sized sandwiches ideal for serving at afternoon tea or casual luncheons.
