Cucumber Tea Sandwiches

Cucumber Tea Sandwiches are a classic finger food for brunch and tea. The creamy dill spread and crustless bread make them tasty and fancy!

Ingredients

  • 1 cucumber , peeled and thinly sliced
  • 8 ounces cream cheese , softened
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons fresh dill , chopped
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce 
  • 16 ounces Sliced bread , crusts removed

Instructions

  1. Add cucumber slices to paper towels on both sides and top with a wooden cutting board for 20 minutes.
  2. Note: Be sure cream cheese is well softened.
  3. In a medium bowl add cream cheese, mayonnaise, dill, lemon juice, garlic salt, and Worcestershire sauce and whisk until well mixed.
  4. Gently spread each piece of bread with cream cheese mixture.
  5. Top half the slices with cucumber slices.
  6. Close sandwiches and cut in half horizontally.
