Ingredients

Servings
  • 1 banana frozen, ripe
  • 1 cup pineapple frozen
  • 2-3 cups spinach organic
  • 1 ginger knob, fresh, peeled, about 2 inches
  • 1 turmeric root knob, peeled, about 2 inches fresh
  • ½ tablespoon honey manuka or raw
  • teaspoon black pepper freshly ground or a few grinds
  • ½-¾ cup almond milk or coconut milk

Instructions

  1. In a large high-powered blender, add in all ingredients and blend on high for 1-2 minutes or until all ingredients are well combined. If necessary, add in more almond milk to thin the smoothie. Makes 1 smoothie.

Notes

  • Feel free to add in a scoop of your favorite protein powder!
  • If you don't like bananas, feel free to sub a cored apple.
  • Make it vegan: simply omit the honey if you'd like to keep this smoothie recipe vegan.
