Delicious Taco Bowl
Description
This taco bowl starts with lean ground beef mixed with taco seasoning and cooked in olive oil alongside chopped onion, garlic, and fresh cilantro for depth. Tomato purée is incorporated and simmered to meld the flavors. The base consists of crisp lettuce leaves, providing freshness and crunch.
Toppings include red beans, roasted corn, sliced cucumbers, cherry tomatoes, shredded cheddar cheese, sliced red onions, and creamy guacamole. Optional tortilla strips add crunch while lime wedges offer bright acidity at serving.
The layering approach allows for a balanced bite combining seasoned meat with fresh vegetables and creamy elements. This bowl serves well as a standalone meal offering protein, vegetables, and fat in one dish, suitable for casual lunch or dinner.
The recipe is best served immediately after assembly for the freshest texture contrasts. Preparing vegetables and toppings ahead supports quick meal assembly.
