Denver Omelet Recipe

The Denver Omelet blends chopped green and red bell peppers, cooked ham, and shredded cheddar cheese into beaten eggs whisked with milk. Baked until puffy and golden, it offers a tender, fluffy texture with savory bites from the ham and a mild pepper sweetness. This omelet is practical for making several servings at once, ideal for breakfast or brunch, served warm straight from the oven.

Description

The Denver Omelet Recipe combines a mix of sautéed chopped green and red peppers with cooked ham and sharp cheddar cheese folded into an egg and milk base. The mixture is baked in the oven until set and browned on top, creating a fluffy, puffy texture distinct from the typical stovetop omelet. The peppers soften to bring mild sweetness, while the ham adds a savory, meaty depth, complemented by melted cheddar.

This dish can serve multiple people at once, making it a good option for family breakfasts or brunch gatherings. The baking method produces a hands-off recipe, eliminating the need for careful stove attention. Serving it warm highlights the melted cheese and tender eggs.
