Dijon Mustard Deviled Eggs

Dijon Mustard Deviled Eggs feature hard-boiled eggs halved and filled with a creamy yolk mixture blended with mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, and spices. The filling is smooth with a tangy mustard edge, balanced by garlic salt and black pepper. Sprinkled with paprika, they offer a classic deviled egg experience with a distinctive mustard flavor, ideal for appetizers or picnics.

Description

This recipe calls for boiling eggs until firm, then chilling them before peeling to ensure easy removal of shells. The yolks are mashed and combined with mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, garlic salt, kosher salt, and black pepper to create a creamy, well-seasoned filling. This mixture is spooned or piped back into the halved egg whites for a smooth texture and even distribution of flavor.

The Dijon mustard provides a mild but noticeable tang that distinguishes this deviled egg variation. A dusting of paprika adds color and a subtle smoky note. Optional add-ins such as Tabasco or sweet pickle relish can customize the flavor further.

These eggs serve well as a finger food at gatherings, providing a familiar yet flavorful snack or starter.
