Dill Pickle Ranch Pretzels

Dill Pickle Ranch Pretzels feature mini pretzels coated with a ranch dressing mix blended with pickle juice, oil, and optional dried dill and parsley. Baked at a low temperature to set the seasoning, they develop a tangy, savory snack with a crisp texture. Additional fresh dill and parsley can be sprinkled on top before cooling for enhanced flavor and visual appeal.

Description

This recipe offers a flavorful snack by combining a ranch seasoning mix with pickle juice and oil to create a tangy coating for mini pretzels. The optional addition of dried dill and parsley adds herbal notes. After thoroughly tossing the pretzels in the mixture, baking at 275°F helps the seasoning adhere while crisping the pretzels.

The finished pretzels deliver a crunchy texture with a distinct dill pickle and ranch flavor profile. Sprinkling more herbs after baking enhances aroma and taste. They can be stored at room temperature in an airtight container to maintain freshness.

For an intensified pickle taste, blending the seasonings with actual pickles to form a paste before tossing with pretzels can be tried as an alternative approach.

  • 2-4 tablespoons pickle juice
  • 1/4 cup neutral oil
  • 1 pound mini pretzels bag
  • 1 teaspoon dill optional, dried
  • 1 teaspoon parsley optional, dried

Instructions

  2. In a large mixing bowl combine the ranch dressing mix, pickle juice (more or less depending on preference), oil, dill and parsley. Whisk until thoroughly combined.
  3. Pour pretzels into the bowl and immediately toss with a rubber spatula. Continue tossing until all of the pretzels are evenly coated in the seasoning mixture.
  4. Pour the coated pretzels onto the baking sheet. It is okay if some of the pretzels are on top of each other.
  5. Bake for 20 minutes tossing once after 10 minutes of baking. Be sure to mix the pretzels thoroughly to ensure an even bake.
  6. Remove from the oven and top with extra dill and parsley if desired. Allow to cool completely before enjoying.
  7. Store in an airtight container at room temperature.

  • Store the pretzels in an airtight container at room temperature to keep them crisp.
