Dr Pepper Barbecue Meatball Crescents are delicious meatballs and cheese with Dr Pepper barbecue sauce wrapped in crescent dough.

Ingredients

  • barbecue sauce Dr Pepper flavored
  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 1/3 cup yellow mustard
  • 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 cup Dr Pepper
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar

Meatball Crescents

  • 24 meatball thawed, frozen, cooked
  • 3 crescent dough refrigerated packages
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese shredded

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F. Cover a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, stir together all the ingredients for the Dr Pepper Barbecue sauce.
  3. Thaw the frozen meatballs per the package directions. Place in a bowl.
  4. Pour half the barbecue sauce over the meatballs and stir to ensure all the meatballs are covered with the sauce.
  5. Roll out the crescent dough breaking along perforated lines.
  6. In each crescent triangle, add a teaspoon of shredded cheese near the widest part of the triangle. Top with a meatball. Add a teaspoon of additional sauce, if needed.
  7. Tuck the sides of the dough in around the meatball, and roll the meatball and dough toward the narrowest part of the triangle.
  8. Place the meatball crescents on a baking sheet covered with parchment paper.
  9. Bake at 375 degrees for about 15 minutes.
