Dr Pepper Brownies
Description
This Dr Pepper Brownies recipe replaces some traditional wet ingredients with 12 ounces of Dr Pepper soda, which adds moisture and a distinctive flavor from its blend of spices and caramel notes. The dry mix includes flour, sugar, cocoa powder, a pinch of baking powder, and a dash of cinnamon to complement the soda's spiced profile.
After mixing the soda into the dry ingredients, chocolate chips are folded into the batter to enhance the chocolate depth and add melting pockets throughout the brownies. The batter is baked in a greased 9×9-inch pan until set, producing brownies with a tender crumb and subtle fizz-flavored complexity.
These brownies offer a twist on classic chocolate desserts by incorporating soda as a flavorful liquid component, resulting in moist, slightly spiced treats suitable for casual gatherings and dessert trays.
