Drumstick Ice Cream Cones (Copycat)
Description
The recipe begins by combining half-and-half, sweetened condensed milk, and vanilla, churned in an ice cream maker to create a creamy vanilla ice cream. After freezing overnight for solidity, ice cream is portioned into cones optionally lined with melted chocolate. A chocolate-peanut topping is made by gently melting milk chocolate with coconut oil, then immediately dipping the ice cream cones into this mixture before sprinkling chopped peanuts to adhere while the coating quickly solidifies.
The cones are refrozen until ready to eat, offering a nostalgic, crunchy shell overlaying smooth homemade vanilla ice cream. This imitation recreates the texture and flavor contrasts of the classic drumstick treats at home.
