Easter Veggie Tray
Description
This Easter Veggie Tray creatively uses fresh vegetables and crackers laid out for a festive presentation. The ranch dip is placed centrally and surrounded by a bunny outline made of Ritz crackers shaped as ears filled with bell peppers. The bunny’s face is composed of a cherry tomato nose, black olive eyes, smile, and celery whiskers. Remaining vegetables – carrots, celery, cucumber, broccoli, and cauliflower – fill the tray, providing a variety of crisp, fresh bites.
This arrangement encourages guests to snack on seasonal vegetables paired with a creamy dip, offering a blend of crunchy textures and mild flavors. It works well as a healthy party appetizer or holiday centerpiece that’s both decorative and functional.
For best results, serve the tray right after assembling to keep vegetables crisp. Leftover vegetables can be stored refrigerated in airtight containers up to one week, and ranch dip separately for about five days to maintain freshness. The tray appeals to those wanting colorful, fresh foods presented in a fun way for Easter or other spring occasions.
Ingredients
- 4 carrot peeled and cut into strips
- 4 celery ribs
- 1 cucumber sliced
- 1 pkg Ritz crackers
- 1 broccoli chopped, head
- 1 cauliflower chopped, head
- 1 red bell pepper sliced
- 4 black olives
- 1 cherry tomato
- 3 cups ranch dip
Instructions
- Pour the ranch dip in a bowl and place it in the middle of a serving tray. Then add the bunny ears to the tray by forming the outline of the ears with ritz crackers and filling in the center of the ears with the sliced red bell peppers.
- Make the face of the bunny by placing the cherry tomato in the center of the bowl of drip. Then use the olives to make the eyes of the bunny. Then cut the remaining olives into pieces and use these pieces to make the bunny smile. Cut some of the celery into thin strips and use that to form the whiskers of the bunny.
- Fill in the rest of the try with the remaining veggies: carrots, celery, cucumber slices, broccoli and cauliflower. Serve immediately and enjoy!
Notes
- Serve the veggie tray immediately after assembling to maintain crunch and freshness.
- Store leftover vegetables in airtight containers in the refrigerator for up to one week.
- Keep leftover ranch dip in a separate covered container refrigerated for up to five days.
