Easy 5-min. Stir Fried Ramen

This stir-fried ramen recipe offers a quick way to transform instant noodles into a flavorful dish using a soy-based sauce with honey, garlic, sesame oil, and optional sriracha. The noodles are briefly boiled to loosen, then tossed with the sauce and green onions in oil to coat them evenly. The result is a slightly sticky, sauced ramen with mild sweetness and balanced savory notes, prepared in under five minutes.

Description

Easy 5-min. Stir Fried Ramen begins by cooking instant ramen noodles briefly until softened but not fully cooked, retaining good texture. The noodles are then drained, reserving a little cooking water for the stir-fry step. A sauce is mixed from soy sauce, honey, garlic, sesame oil, butter, mirin, ground ginger, and optional Sriracha for a mild kick.

Vegetable oil is heated gently with chopped green onions to infuse flavor before the noodles and reserved cooking water are added back in. Tossing the noodles with the sauce ensures an even coating, while a short cooking time keeps them tender without becoming mushy. The combination creates a glossy, flavorful ramen bowl that elevates instant noodles with minimal fuss.

This method provides a quick, savory-sweet option suitable for a light meal or snack. The balance of soy sauce and honey keeps it approachable, and the sesame and ginger add a hint of aromatic warmth. The dish can be enjoyed as is or customized with other vegetables or protein additions alongside the green onion.
