  • 1 tbsp garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp nutritional yeast
  • queeze lemon juice
  • ½ tsp salt sea salt

Instructions

  1. First, place all ingredients in a food processor or blender.
  2. Blend on high until smooth. Every 1 minute, stop and scrape down sides of blender with spatula.
  3. Continue blending until smooth, about 2 to 3 minutes total.
  4. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 5 days.

Notes

  • Remove basil stems before measuring and blending for a smoother pesto.
  • Press the basil firmly into the measuring cup to get an accurate 1 cup measurement.
  • Use a high-powered blender or food processor and blend in 1-minute increments, scraping down sides for even texture.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 5 days or freeze for up to 2 months.
