Easy Air Fryer Cabbage Recipe (Flavor-Packed!)

  • ½ large head cabbage
  • 2 Tbsp neutral cooking oil 30 mL, generic cooking oil
  • 1 Tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tsp garlic powder each
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper

Instructions

  1. Prep Cabbage: Cut cabbage in half, then cut that have into 4 wedges (reserve other half for a different use).
  2. Flavor: In a small bowl, stir together 2 Tbsp oil, 1 Tbsp Dijon mustard, 1 tsp each garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, and ¼ tsp each salt and pepper. Brush the mixture onto all sides of the cabbage wedges.
  3. Air Fry: Set air fryer to 350°F (176°C). Place wedges in a single layer in the air fryer and cook for 15 to 20 minutes, or until charred at the edges and tender.

Notes

  • Storage: Fried cabbage is always best enjoyed right away, but leftovers will keep in the fridge. Let it cool completely, then store it in an airtight container for up to 4 days (try to store them without any sauce on the slices). To reheat, pop them back in the air fryer or oven to get crispy again.
