Easy Air Fryer Carrots Recipe
Description
The carrots are prepared by washing and optionally peeling before tossing with fresh rosemary sprigs, smoked paprika, salt, black pepper, and olive oil. After preheating the air fryer to 200ºC (400ºF), the carrots are arranged in a single layer for cooking. They air fry for about 20 minutes, turning halfway to ensure even cooking.
This cooking method delivers carrots that are tender yet retain some bite with a subtle smoky and herbal flavor from the paprika and rosemary. The olive oil helps developing a light caramelization on the surface during air frying.
The recipe suggests serving the carrots hot, optionally seasoning them with za'atar or a preferred dressing or sauce for additional flavor accents. This is a convenient and healthy way to enjoy carrots as a vegetable side.
Ingredients
- 400 g carrot
- 2 rosemary fresh springs
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
