Easy Air Fryer Spaghetti Squash
Description
The Easy Air Fryer Spaghetti Squash recipe details slicing a spaghetti squash in half, removing seeds, brushing the insides with olive oil, salt, and pepper, and air frying at 370°F for 10 minutes followed by 5 minutes at 300°F. This cooking approach results in flesh that can be shredded into tender yet firm strands resembling spaghetti noodles with a slight crispness around the edges.
The recipe emphasizes careful slicing and adjusting seasoning as desired, with a note on using a microwave briefly to ease cutting if needed. It highlights that the squash is done when easily shredded with forks and that air fryer models may vary in cooking time.
This preparation suits those seeking a straightforward way to cook spaghetti squash efficiently without a conventional oven, providing strands that work well as a vegetable-based pasta alternative or base for various toppings and sauces.
Leftovers can be stored refrigerated for up to four days but freezing is not recommended to maintain texture.
